Tuesday Class

My cards for this weeks class were inspired by my fabulous upline Monica Gale who showed us some new colouring techniques at our monthly training session.

This card was made using some of the lovely Sale-a-bration free DSP card which is embossed in silver - gold and rose gold in different patterns it is super to use with inks.  This technique was made using the sponge brayers in 3 different coloured inks to get the colouration from light to dark.  Topped with a vellum circle cut with framelets and the sneakers from the Sale-a-bration stamp set was layered on top with silver thread looped inbetween the layers.  A simple ribbon and greeting from the Panda set finished this card off a treat.

This card was made with one of the new bundles available from the Sale-a-bration products, for a £90 order you could receive this fab embossing folder and matching basket stamp set (These will both be carried forward into the new June 2018 Catalogue if you miss them in Sale-a-bration).  One of the new colouring ideas show by Monica was to pain your stamped images using the re-inkers and simply drop a drop onto an accrylic block then paint with a blender pen onto the image (and a little goes a long long way).  The image was stamped with Versamark Ink then embossed with white emboss poweder and set with the Stampin' Up! heat tool.  The basket weave embossing folder is so so nice and the texture is lovely and thick.  The edge was fancied up with the border punch and all seated on a Daffodill Delight card blank.   Just great for Easter.

These gorgeous little silver boxes are available in packs of 12 and are so quick and simple to put together, we embossed it in the bog shot with the basket weave folder which made it pop 3D and look amazing.  The basket stamp was used again so it matched the card above to be sent as an Easter treat.

This one was the class sample made by me to show how it all went together.

This one was made by my mum at class and she wrote my neice's name on to fill with easter goodies.

This one was made by Esther who carefully cut round the handle as she wanted to pop the butterly on which looked super cute.

It goes to show with a few alterations how different one little sample could be with different peoples ideas on their own projects.

We really enjoyed making all the items and had a good old natter and Tea and cake to go with it all.
