Pink Easel Cards

Here are 2 beautiful easel cards using some of the fab Stampin' Up! framelet dies to make up the layers.  They are both the same idea just a variation of the papers and stamps used.  A really simple card to make you just simply crease the front of a top fold card in the middle to make the folded section at the front and make sure you have a stopper of some sort on the bottom card to make it stand up.  You can use any shape on the front section but does look special with a shaped die or punch topper. The top card uses the pleated ribbon technique for the stopper and the bottom card is simply buttons layered up pretty to make the stopper.  To get the camoflague effect it is simply the tree tops from the Serene Sillhouetes stamp set stamped over and over with the 2 different inks. 

I got the idea of using the framelet dies and having a blank one inside to write your message off one of my lovely demo friend's Issy as she made a simlar card for our lovely demo pal Linda for her birthday.
