July Card Class - Concertina Card

This fabulous little card was found on You Tube there are lots about but I used Frenchie's Videos (demonstrator) and it was so simple to follow.  It is simply a card blank scored gate fold (in half then each half into half folds).  The bottom was used by folding outer sides in so a double layer then punch with the decorative label punch to make the feet.  I just love the petite petals and the butterfly stamp sets I use them all the time and with matching punches it is quick to make punched out images as toppers for cards.  The summer sillouettes stamp set was used for the background and the greeting was from the tiny sentiments set punched out with the small oval punch.  The shapes were glittered up with sparkle.  As this card was a bit 3D we used an envelope made with the fabulous envelope punch board out of very vanilla card stock and decorated with the stamps, we all did different ones but I must admit to been a bit addicted to the Stippled Blossom stamp set for the back of the envelopes it is just adorable..
