Tuesday Card Class

This masculine version of the popular Build a Birthday stamp set is mixed with Timeless Textures and Perfect Pennants stamp sets from the Spring Summer catalogue and I am pleased it is moving forward into the new catalogue starting 02 June 2016.

I have seen so many different ideas with this versatile set and some lovely creations on blogs and pinterest just type the stamp set into pinterest for some fabulous project and card ideas.

This card is one I CASED off pinterest it was a real quick n simple one and I have seen lots of different variations with ribbons or brads and either rectangular as seen here or people using tags and framelets for the shapes.  You could also stamp or draw an outline of a little box at the end of each tag as I have seen where people have done a tick in a bright colour to say which greeting is relevant to the recipient.  A good way to use up those scraps left over from projects or retired DSP like I have used here, any of the DSP pads would be good for this as you are not cutting up a full sheet of 12x12 then.

This card is a simple layered technique using some of the SAB papers for the background and the retiring little flower punch I love love this little punch it is a shame it is leaving us next catalogue.  The hello honey card was embossed and the background paper was made with the little stamps from the Pretty Thankful stamp set. I wanted to use a bigger greeting than those in the set so picked out one of my favourite retired greetings I use this set often as it is a nice font.
