Tuesday Class

We had a lovely class today lots of chatter, laughter and friends together creating and enjoying craft together.  I had baked some large cream butterfly buns aswell which went down a treat albeit messy ha ha.

This first card above was inspired by the talented Monica Gale (my upline) who made a similar style with the new promotion christmas set which I did not have so I designed this fabulous die cut out front by using the apron framelet upside down on itself to make the shape.  I am loving this Timeless Textures stamp set at the moment the stamps are all brilliant and useful in so many ways as backgrounds and main stamping flowers included.   The fold of the card is super easy just two pieces of card cut at 13.5 cm x 14cm and score on the short side at 1/2 inch and 1 inch to make the side folds.  As we were colouring with the brilliant Stampin Blends I made an inner piece of whisper white card to stamp and colour on then attached to the back piece on the inside so that the back was plain to write your greeting.

The card above was made with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set which I borrowed for class off my lovely mum Jean.  We stamped it in Goreous Grape Ink with the Stamperatus so all three stamps done in one go.. amazing little gadget (all my class ladies have the Stamperatus and we like sharing hints n tips found).  This was a super simple card to show how quick you can make lots of cards at the same time which would be good for swaps or christmas cards etc..  The DSP is from the Garden Impressions 6x6 paper stack, so many gorgeous colours and designs in this little stack.  Georgeous Grape 1/4" (6.4 Mm) Mini Striped Ribbon was added on the top to finish off the card.
Dandelion Wishes Clear-Mount Stamp Set

This was another variation of this simple but pretty card which was stamped in white ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder and set with the Stampin' Up! heat gun.  Once all dried and cooled we coloured it with the stampin blends then toppped with pearls.  The DSP is from the Garden Impressions 6x6 paper stack again.  Poppy Parade 1/4" (6.4 Mm) Mini Striped Ribbon was added on the top to finish off the card.
