Tuesday Class

This first card is an easy fold idea that Chrissie at class saw on Pinterest and showed me the fold which I loved and made into this card for class.  When I originally saw it I thought stripe was washi tape then realised it was the reverse of the DSP.  We cut the 6x6 DSP to two pieces each measuring 6 x 2.5 inches then scored at the short side 1/2 inch to create the long slim fold, then simply choose which side DSP to put as the main piece and which to fold back as the slim section.  The butterfly is one of the lovely new butterfly stamp and punch sets called Butterfly Gala and was coloured with Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils.  The greeting was made inking the stamp half and half with two different ink pads to split the colour to match the colours on the card.  A simple but great speedy card.

The second card is one of the sets we used last class but as we all fell in love with the cuteness of the cup cake I made another card which was for part of a Sale-a-bration swap between my demo friends and this was my entry/swap.  This was again another simple layering card and we fussy cut the stamped images and layered up the scrummy cup cake then added a banner and some glitter dots to finish off the card.  My ladies loved it and Shirley placed an order to received this as her free gift which is great.

The third card is another one of the gorgeous Sale-a-bration stamp sets on offer until the end of March.  I received a couple of cards in my recent demo swap with this stamp set so ordered it on my last order to use at class.  My ladies loved it and Esther placed an order to receive this as her free gift which is great.  The image was coloured using our fabulous Stampin Blends and the seagulls were coloured with the Stampin' Up! White Chalk Marker pen.  We used the tri punch to round the corners on the blue and the white card stock and the ribbon punch to add a fancy top to the card.  The bottom card was Esther's card that she punched one corner with the petal side of the punch to make it more fancy which I loved so here is a photo of her card to show off on my blog too.

Thank you for visiting my Blog today, I hope you have enjoyed my projects.
